Richard S. Hargett, one of the leading young agriculturists of Frederick County, who is farming on the old John E. Hargett homestead, two and a half miles east of Frederick City, on the Baltimore pike, was born February 21, 1881, and is a son of John E. and Ellen (Zimmerman) Hargett.
